The Indigenous Mental Health First Aid (IMHFA) workshop is a 2- to 3-day training designed for community workers, frontline helpers, peer supporters, and traditional caregivers serving First Nations communities in Canada. Grounded in the Seven Grandfather Teachings (Truth, Respect, Humility, Love, Honesty, and Wisdom), this course bridges evidence-based crisis response practices with culturally safe, relational approaches.
