Fireweed Healing Counselling

If you have ever been to the Northern regions of Canada, you have likely noticed rolling hills of purple along the highways. Fireweed is the first plant to return to the land after the devastation of a forest fire; regenerating the soil for new life to grow. The inspiration for Fireweed Healing and Counselling, comes from these beautiful plants. A symbol of hope, resilience and rebirth. After life’s devastations, Fireweed Healing aims to provide a safe space for you to regenerate and begin a new life.

Kinyewakan Counselling

In an effort to support clients make breakthroughs, Nancy Kinyewakan has created a method that is both belief- and behavior-based. It addresses the skill set as well as the mindset. I believe in providing an oasis for Indigenous individuals to pause, to reflect, to tune in to their own greatness, so that they can regroup for their next leap forward.

Four Cedars Counselling

Having ancestry from the Mi’kmaq people of Newfoundland and the English people of Bath, I use the teachings of the medicine wheel as a foundation for both my personal and professional life. I strongly believe that making art can be a practice that supports physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. When we make art, we can experience our stories and our struggles in a fresh, new way.

Wyatt Creke at Ripiphany Counselling

I am rooted in a Person Centered & a Trauma Informed approach. I believe humans have the capacity for change and growth but are often stumped by exterior obstacles, self-doubt, and/or pain that originates from traumatic experiences. I believe that my role is to provide support through empathy, acceptance, and a deep natural inquisition and curiosity I have for all human experiences which drives my love for connection and meaning. I believe all people are the experts on their own lives and know what is best for themselves, that there is strength in vulnerability, and that growth happens when we take risks.
